¡¡¡¡BEIJING, Feb. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Over 1,000 people on a crippled Italian cruise ship are being towed to the main Seychelles island of Mahe.

¡¡¡¡A fire in the engine room of the Costa Allegra on Monday stalled the vessel in the Indian Ocean. The Seychelles presidential spokeswoman said arrangements were being made for accommodation, transfers to international flights and other necessary services for passengers upon their arrival at Mahe.

¡¡¡¡She expected Costa Allegra would arrive between late evening of Wednesday and early morning of Thursday, depending on the sea conditions. The Allegra¡¯s owner Costa Cruises said all 636 passengers and 413 crew members were in good health. The passengers and crew group are from 25 countries.
